Amnesia Episode 3

Recap: All prior information is cast aside as the heroine has seemed to enter into an alternate timeline. In it, she is dating Shin, and that’s not the only thing that’s changed.

I’m going to keep this short for reasons that will become obvious in the conclusion. I have to say after last week’s mix up I thought they were going somewhere, but now I see it appears it was just a mechanism to phase into each of the main dude’s paths. I do find it somewhat strange that we start with the main dude Shin, if boxart is anything to go on at least. This of course means that our heroine needs to get dragged around again and have the the new timeline’s chronology described to her again. Not helping it is that she still acts like a person sized canyon echoing or mumbling everything thrown at her. This makes for a very boring reintroduction to the new cast and their new roles in this version of the world.

Look, I wanted to give this a chance. The art was nice enough, I thought maybe there’d be something more to it. Unfortunately, these three episodes have shown me that is not the case. This show is awful. Its heroine is awful. She’s spineless. She’s mopey. She can’t even seem to form proper sentences. There is nothing about her that makes her likable, which can be a problem for self-insert romance game protagonists but this just takes it to a whole new level. At least with most games they give you a backstory or a personality that makes the character relatable and make you want to be them, but this girl has nothing. Hell, she literally does not remember her past. There’s nothing for me here, so I’m going to cut my losses. Consider this….

YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH! Wait. No. That's not right.
