The underground BETA offensive forces Argos Test Flight off the front line. While the base evacuates, Yui stays behind to destroy the Type 99 weapon and keep it out of enemy hands.

Yuuya feels uncomfortable taking credit for their recent victory and lobbies for real melee combat. He gets his wish as the railgun is taken offline and Argos Test Flight is ordered to join the latest sortie.

Argos Test Flight heads out on their first combat mission and of course, things do not go according to plan. Can Yuuya earn Fikatsia’s trust in time to save everyone?

The Argos Test team prepares for their first combat trials with Yuuya assigned to test a new long range weapon. While awaiting deployment in the U.S.S.R., they experience the anger and resentment of the pilots on the front lines.

Yuuya, Yui and Cryska awkwardly try to understand each other better as they remain stranded on the island. They are rescued before morning and Yui and Cryska must face the “consequences” of their actions.

Our intrepid squad arrives at Guadalupe base for a special exercise and find themselves working with Cryska and Inia. Tensions are diffused with a little friendly competition, but bad weather leaves Yuuya, Yui and Cryska stranded on a deserted island.

A group of pilots from nations overrun by BETA are gathered to test TSF at a research facility in Alaska. Ace American pilot Yuuya Bridges arrives and meets the team.
