Summary: The time has come for Kamisu’s annual summer festival, and the authorities, Saki included, discuss the overwhelming victory of the Robber Fly colony over the Giant Hornets. Kiroumaru has escaped, but the likeliness of Squealer having discovered a false Minoshiro is all the more likely. Saki and Satoru receive some bad news, but an…
Recap: It has been over a decade since the last episode, and Saki and Satoru have grown up and found jobs in the village. The status quo is threatened however by the deepening political tensions between the Queerat clans.
Summary: Saki and Satoru read through Maria’s poignant goodbye letter. As they reflect on their pasts and what they have learnt about Kamisu’s 66th District, they are driven to a frightening decision.
Recap: In the hunt for Maria and Mamoru, Saki and Satoru encounter Squealer once again. They learn that much has changed in Queerat society since they were last among them.
Leaving Mamoru and Maria behind, Saki and Satoru return to the village, only to be taken in for questioning by the Board of Education
Summary: Saki, Maria and Satoru venture out into the wilderness in search of Mamoru
Saki meets the head of the mysterious Ethics Committee, who makes her a shocking proposal. Elsewhere, Maria discovers that Mamoru has run away from home.
As the next step in their education, all children have to pair up with a partner of the opposite sex. Saki is asked by her alleged childhood friend Ryou, yet quickly realizes that she hasn’t known him for as long as she apparently remembers.
Saki finds and confronts Shun, who reveals his tragic fate to her.
Summary: Shun has vanished and the remaining children decide to investigate, with Saki and Satoru heading to his hometown while Mamoru and Maria poke about the school.
Two years after the end of the previous episode, Saki and company are now teenagers and seem to be slowly drifting apart. But a visit from a mysterious figure places Shun into a dangerous predicament.
Summary: Saki and Satoru fall into the thick of the civil war, but are rescued by the arrival of the Giant Hornet clan. They reunite with the others and attempt to evade an unexpected danger and return home.
