Dramatic title aside, I’ve come to appreciate these posts as a way of leaving behind a definitive footprint. My feelings for these may change as time passes but here and now in 2023, this is what I had to say about anime.
We talk about the anime we’re still watching, catch up on Kamen Rider coming and going, and get into a lengthy discussion about boring anime protagonists. Yeah, it’s that kind of season.
Gee is running the show this week which means he’s going to use the first 10 minutes to talk about Armored Core 6 instead of the Summer 2023 season of anime. Thankfully Artemis is here to talk about a bunch of anime that nobody else watched.
Smoking cats aside, the number of shows we’re watching this season is starting to dwindle. Is it time to hit the backlog?
It’s our 11th anniversary and we get a little nostalgic, daring to ask if anime is better or worse than it was in 2013. This might not be the best anime season to ask that question, but hey, we did find some things to watch!
