So between watching NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a having never consumed any NieR content, and watching Trigun Stampede having never consumed any Trigun content, which is more likely to be worthwhile/intelligible?
I’ve never consumed any Trigun and I could generally follow what was happening with Stampede. It just felt too rushed, which resulted in me not caring when they despite desperately want you to.
I have played Nier Automata so I can only guess, but I’m pretty sure that will make little to no sense without playing the game. To me it feels more specifically designed as a fan companion piece.
