The island nation of Nil Kamui is caught in the middle of a war between the nations of Donatia and Kouran, forcing its young monarch to form a pact with the island’s chaotic and destructive deity, the Red Dragon. More importantly, it’s based off a week-long roleplaying game with Gen Urobuchi, Nasu Kinoko, and Ryohgo Narita.
Gen Urobuchi wrote some words on a paper and now a bunch of far less talented hacks are trying to make an anime out of it.
In order to hunt down Sid, Ryouma proposes an alliance with Kouta. Meanwhile, Takatora has survived his fall but finds himself in the grip of the Lord of the Overlords.
With Takatora now aware of the Overlords, the other members of Yggdrasil decide to dispose of him
Takatora remembers his past before coming face to face with the Overlords.
Tensions run high, as Kouta reveals the truth to Mai and Kaito gets a new powerup and one last chance to bring down the Overlords.
Jounouchi attempts to prove he’s a real man, while the Professor confronts DJ Sagara.
As the mysterous Overlords enter the fray, all sides jockey for information on these strange new foes.
Kouta leaves Yggdrasil a broken man, and must somehow rediscover his will to fight. Meanwhile, Kaito presses deeper into Helheim searching for the mysterious Invess.
Both Yggdrasil and Team Gaim plan to stakeout any cracks that show up to prevent any more Invess from passing through. However, when Kouta bumps into Professor Ryouma, the latter reveals the dark thruth about “Project Ark”. Meanwhile, Kaito looks for the source of Helheim’s power.

Kouta and Kaito plan to infiltrate Yggdrasil and launch an attack from the inside, but they run into stiffer opposition than they expected.
Mai tries to throw a big performance with all the Beat Riding teams, but none of them are willing to take part as long as Team Baron are. Meanwhile, the aforementioned Team Baron goes through some big changes and Pierre and Jonouchi hatch a plan to take out the Beat Riders for good… Sort of.
Takatora asks Mitchy to prove his loyalty by stealing Kouta’ Wärring Driver. Torn between the love for his friends and the dedication to his brother’s cause, Mitchy hires Pierre to be his go-between while Professor Ryouma sends in Youko to assist him.
While Yggdrasil assesses the consequences of the Beat Riders’ visit, Team Gaim deals with Team Red Hot, who have been summoning Invess to rob banks for them. Meanwhile, Takatora confronts Mitchy and reveals the secret of Helheim to him.
Kouta and Kaito are bought face to face with the mysterious Professor Sengoku. Afterwards, Kouta meets DJ Sagara in person for the first time.
Hase is running wild and both Gaim and Yggdrasil are attempting to hunt him down. Meanwhile, Mitchy infiltrates the corporation to discover the truth behind the Helheim fruit. Suffering ensues.
