With another season in the books, we discuss the diminishing returns from our favorite (?) shows of the Winter 2021 anime season.
We pay our respects to the 2021 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, Jel catches up with Jujutsu Kaisen, and chat about whatever shows we’re still watching.
We drop a few of our regular shows, Jel talks about the Given movie, and Iro threatens to steal your significant other.
A surprising number of shows have survived the first month of the season, and we’re going to talk about them all.
Like many people, this year has been rather busy for me for a variety of reasons both personal and practical. So rather than my usual arbitrary awards show with bespoke categories, I’ll just be going through all the anime I watched in 2020 in chronological order and giving each one the words I think they deserve, for either good or ill.
Halfway through the season we welcome back Gal and Dino, catch up on some other anime trash we haven’t discussed in a while, and check in for another Kamen Rider update.
We are still talking about Great Pretender somehow (thanks Netflix), discussing the anime versus the game with Magatsu Wahrheit Zuerst, and we finally get off some Genshin Impact takes.
Link dump incoming.

When his friends get attacked by demons known as Curses, he takes a gamble on harnessing demonic power. I assume he will go on adventures and fight more Curses.
Anime is back with a full roster of shows for the Fall 2020 season, but do any of them look good? You’ll just have to listen and find out.
