We’re dropping shows all over the place and I’m still mad at Twin Star Exorcists, but The Roundup carries on. I have accepted Bakuon!! as our lord and savior, Luluco and Joker game are doing there thing, and Tanaka-kun and Three Leaves, Three Colors (we need a good short name for that) just make you feel good.
Another round of cuts and me raging about Twin Star Exorcists earlier in the week will have The Roundup looking a bit thinner, but fortunately the return of Sakamoto and a solid performance from the rest of the line up keep things positive.
Seems like Spring is going to be the season for relaxing with some fun, light hearted comedies as they pretty much dominate The Roundup. I am OK with this. Even so, a couple shows are already in danger of getting the axe, can you guess which ones it will be?
A writer known for unintentionally turning drama into hilarity teams up with a director finding hilarity in even the biggest tragedy. What could possibly go wrong?
Our final round of previews features the much hyped Trigger original Kiznaiver, some sleepy slice of life shows, and a bus tour gone wrong that sounds like the anime equivalent of Lost. We even have Dogakobo’s next potential successor to Love Lab, although several years later I know better than to get my hopes up for that.
