Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury will haunt me for years.
We do our best to preview the Summer 2023 season, but still end up talking about Birdie Wing and Gundam.
Aqua has dared to question the unassailable Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story, and we wonder if our favorite shows this season will cross the finish line without falling apart.
Look, I didn’t want to have to write this. But what the fuck happened to Birdie Wing, man?
As we approach the final stretch of the season, I still can’t decide if Oshi no Ko is good. But hey, plenty of other good shows as we get into Birdie Wing, Heavenly Delusion (Tengoku Daimakyo), and we talk about one episode of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury for almost as long as the episode itself.
We discuss Oshi no Ko possibly not living up to its explosive start, our disappointment with Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage, and everyone’s favorite show about star crossed lesbians being manipulated by their parents and powerful corporations… and maybe even some Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury!
Yes, we know there are other anime airing this season besides Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story, so we spend some time talking about other new shows… but we also talk about Birdie Wing.

We wrap up whatever shows from Winter 2023 survived to the end, but nothing else matters because BIRDIE WING IS BACK and that’s all I want to talk about.
What if we ethnically cleansed otaku? No, what if we treated that as a *bad* thing though?
