Like many people, this year has been rather busy for me for a variety of reasons both personal and practical. So rather than my usual arbitrary awards show with bespoke categories, I’ll just be going through all the anime I watched in 2020 in chronological order and giving each one the words I think they deserve, for either good or ill.
In one of our longest episodes ever, the crew tries to tackle all the notable shows from the Spring 2020 season.
An uneasy tension exists between humanity and beastmen, a divergent path of evolution who possess the ability to transform into animal people. Michiru Kagemori, a human girl who finds herself transformed into a tanuki, flees to Animacity, the free bastion of the beastmen. There, she seeks refuge and to discover the nature of her mysterious condition. Hijinks ensue.
The crew looks at the notable, for better or worse, anime coming up next season.
