Even in winter, anime gladly shows off its shorts. This time, Jel and Aqua take a look at Piacevole, One Room, Chiruran, Nyanko Days and Forest Fairy Five. What do you mean, you’ve never heard of these shows before?
Shorts in fall are probably a bad idea, especially in Japan, where the common cold can leave you bedridden for days on end. Nevertheless, this fall season probably has a bigger boatload of anime shorts than ever before, and once again it’s up to Jel and I – safe for an entirely unwarranted appearance by Euri – to separate the wheat from the chaff. Though this season, that will probably give you enough wheat to bake a single biscuit and enough chaff to feed an entire stable throughout the winter. But hey, at least we got to see Yotsuba animated! Yay…?
Shorts are comfy and easy to wear, especially in summer, so with the dearth of good anime this season, Jel and I are delving into the bizarre world of anime shorts once more to see if there’s another Tonari no Seki-kun or Miss Monochrome just waiting to be discovered. Well, there is another Miss Monochrome, but you know what I mean.
We take a look at The Comic Artist and His Assistants, Keroro, Inugami and Nekoyama and Magica Wars, and see if any of them are worth your ti– Okay, yeah, sorry, I can’t finish that sentence this season either.
