Tada Banri returns home to a warm welcome from his friends and Koko re-visits the status of their physical relationship. Mitsuo comes clean to everyone about Linda and asks for their help as he decides to film the Festival Club for his club project.
Konoha has had enough of watching Benio give Mashiro and Kobeni special treatment so she enlists the help of the newspaper club to dig up some dirt on them. As she finds herself more and more in contact with the two girls, it turns out she may be the one keeping secrets.
Bishamon assembles her team to clean up the Vent but can’t seem to put aside her grudge. Yato continues to feel the effects of the blight as Hiyori tries to help patch up his growing rift with Yukine.
Koko struggles to control her obsessive urges as she waits for Tada Banri to return home, catching Nana’s attention in the process. At the reunion, Linda does her best to help Tada Banri face his classmates.
After learning the truth about the Mitsumine family, Kobeni feels even more confused about her feelings for Hakuya. As Valentine’s Day approaches, she tries to decide how she should give him chocolate.
Shichimiya convinces Dekomori that Nibutani is the real Mori Summer. Nibutani uses this to her advantage and gets Dekomori to help her with her student council campaign. Later, the school begins cutting down on inactive clubs and it’s up to Kumin to save the Far Eastern Black Magic Napping Society with the power of sleep!
As Summer break winds down, Tada Banri, Koko, and Linda return to the Festival Club and some awkward assumptions. Tada Banri learns about a class reunion back home and plans to attend at Koko’s insistence. Mitsuo discovers Linda is also returning home, and in his effort to get closer to her he begins to unravel Tada Banri’s past.
Mashiro and Hakuya receive word that a visitor from home is coming by to check on them. Kobeni is getting suspicious about Mashiro’s age but she does not have to wait long to discover the truth about their family.
Seki-kun finds several new ways to kill time, including an unconventional game of Shogi, polishing his desk, an even less conventional game of Go Chess, and crafting a seal out of an eraser.
In the aftermath of the accident, Koko shuts herself away as she is overcome with guilt. Tada Banri visits her house for the first time and tries to console her, but their conversation opens old wounds in their relationship.
Kobeni becomes physically ill after learning about her past with Hakuya. As she tries to sort out her feelings of guilt, she also realizes how much closer they’ve become.
Tada Banri and company try to make the best of their beach trip as their “mysterious” string of bad luck continues. This includes getting everyone in the same car with Mitsuo after their previous awkward encounter, but that may be the least of their worries as the day goes on.
Benio’s obsession with little sisters continues to rage out of control, but fortunately her vice president is around to keep her in check. Mashiro begins to notice how popular Kobeni is with the boys at school and urges Hakuya to step up his game. Kobeni begins to wonder why Benio is OK with her fiancé and it’s not long before she learns the truth.
Rikka detects a mysterious girl following her and Yuuta near their apartment and on the way to school. Her identity is revealed after a surprise attack, leaving Rikka fighting for more than just imaginary chuunibyou glory.
Tada Banri and 2D-kun suspect Mitsuo has a girlfriend, as he continues to bail on them during Summer break. Koko joins them in staking out their #1 suspect, which somehow turns into everyone making beach plans.
Mashiro tries to wrap her brain around Benio as she settles into life at the Yonomori household. She mentions an incident involving Hakuya and Kobeni from when they were children, but Kobeni can’t seem to remember the period of time when they knew each other.
The girls spy in on Yuuta and Rikka’s romantic status, causing Nibutani to call in outside help to spark their relationship. The couple goes out on a date and try to sort out just what their relationship really is.
