Young Adlet Mayer, the self-proclaimed ‘strongest man in the world’ attempts to draw the goddess’ attention by crashing a sacred tournament and wiping out its contestants — something the royal family isn’t exactly happy about.

The two collide in the worst way when a gate opens in Tokyo and an army of fantasy monsters and soldiers attempts an invasion. With the initial attack quelled, our hero joins an expedition through the gate to see what’s on the other side.

Our heroes invade Ryudo Temple to stop Gil’s evil scheme and (for some reason) save Shinji. Saber destroys the Holy Grail after settling the score with Assassin, and Shirou uses Archer’s ultimate magic to defeat Gilgamesh.

OP/ED Op-Eds: The Best of Spring 2015

‘Tis finally the season for annoying summer hits, so let’s all stay inside and reflect on the good old days before the calypso beats took over. Only it’s not the early 2000’s anymore and this is an anime blog, so the music isn’t going to be that much better. Especially since this season has been positively gasping for decent shows and decent songs to go with them, so don’t be surprised if you’re going to get a bit of déjà vu from this here feature. For what they’re worth, these are our favourite anime songs from the past season.
