Despite being on the younger side of the age spectrum amongst the GLORIO crew, it seems that most of my favorite OPs and EDs are classics. Not sure if that says anything about me, but it’s not changing today. For this week’s OP/ED Op-Eds, I’d like to feature a special favorite of mine, “Driver’s High”…
Recap: The crew of the Yamato manage to revive one of the captured Gamilan androids. The ship’s AI robotic assistant, Analyzer, strikes up a friendship with the android, newly christened as “Alter.”
Recap: After Eren emerges from the corpse of the Rogue Titan and tries to recall the events that led to the transformation, humanity’s fears come to a head as Eren, Mikasa, and Armin are in danger of being executed for treason against the state.
Recap: Saeki does not want to break up with Kasuga despite the truths that have been revealed to her. More confused than ever, Kasuga takes a day off school, providing Nakamura with ample opportunity to toy with Saeki.
Recap: Caught in a trap devised by Lord Dessler, leader of the Gamillan Empire, the Yamato must devise a plan to escape both the sentient devouring cloud and the local star that stands in their way.
Recap: The recruits utilize the Rogue Titan’s rampage to successfully break into the regional headquarters. However, before they can replenish their supplies, they must clear out the Titans that are already inside the building.
Recap: Kasuga and Nakamura walk home for what seems like forever.
Recap: After the battle at Pluto, the Yamato prepares to leave the Solar System once and for all. The crew hold a line-crossing ceremony and are given the opportunity to contact friends and family for what may be the last time.
Recap: Mikasa finally learns of Eren’s demise. Running low on gas, blades, and intact trainees, the remaining trainees rally together and attempt to retake the local headquarters to replenish their supplies.
Recap: Kasuga’s first heart-to-heart with Saeki after his confession goes surprisingly well, but brings him to the point where he cannot contain his guilt any longer. Luckily, Nakamura is there to “help”.
Recap: Having barely survived the last attack from their mirror-satellite beam, the Yamato crew begins its counterattack against the Gamilas.
Recap: Armin suffers a mental a breakdown from the sheer gravity of the situation. Elsewhere, Mikasa reminisces about why exactly she cares so much about Eren.
Recap: Kasuga’s classmates are shocked to hear he went on a date with Saeki. All seems bright for our protagonist, but Nakamura does not buy his “purely platonic” interest in Saeki one bit.
Recap: Youto confronts Tsukiko’s sister. She claims that she wants to cut her sisterly bonds with Tsukiko
Recap: Captain Okita decides that they cannot allow the Pluto base to continue bombarding Earth unhindered and orders the Yamato to launch an attack on the Gamilas forces stationed there. In the midst of a daring plan to catch them off guard, the Gamilas see through the ruse and launch an attack on a vulnerable Yamato.
Recap: Kasuga is a hipster, Saeki is an angel and Nakamura is a ninja.
Recap: The Colossal Titan returns and opens a hole in the gates of Wall Maria. With Titans quickly pouring in and devouring the population, the recruits find themselves on the front lines of the defense of Trost.
