Light Novel Adaptation by Asread

Premise: A hero in training is forced to take a job at an item shop after the demon lord is defeated and his skills become obsolete. It’s a pretty boring gig until the manager hires an unusual new employee.

Just so you know what you're getting yourself into

Jel’s Verdict: You’re Fired

OK light novel authors we get it, you really like juxtaposing fantasy settings on mundane day jobs. Sadly, I’ve yet to see anyone take proper advantage of it. In this particular case it just an excuse to jiggle the female figure in your face. There’s no reason for the setting whatsoever other than to pretend appliances run on magic and one amusing scene with demon lord’s daughter guarding the cash register. I guess I can give the series credit for knowing exactly what it wants to be as opposed to say, The Devil Is A Part-Timer, but considering how low they are aiming I can’t say that’s much better. I personally thought the art style was pretty ugly, so even if you just want to ogle animu babes I’d say there are better options. Definitely skip this one.

Kinda looks like a face with red eyes

Marlin’s Verdict: Well that was enough of that.

Every season needs its boobs show, and it would appear stupidlongname wishes to take that title. Uninspired character design, mundane plot progression, it’s entirely tasteless and uninteresting unless you only respond to motion of partially filled water balloons. The only marginally funny idea is that the world is basically the same, except all appliances run on magic instead of electricity. I’d honestly rather be watching Infinite Stratos. Yeah, you heard me. It’s that bad.

Lifesong’s Verdict: Entertaining for a Boob Show

The animation looks surprisingly good for the 3D animation it is. Really not too much to say about this one that the name doesn’t already give away. It basically feels like a raising sim with a spoiled girl who needs to learn about the world. I’m sure the would be hero also has things to learn from taking care of the deceased demon lord’s daughter. The presentation is solid, but make no mistake, this is a boob show for the hardcore otaku. If you are okay with breasts that look like they have their own physics engine dedicated to their moment then you could do worse.
