Indisputable proof that book-smart guys with glasses can not only attract hot girls but more than one at a time.

Artemis’ verdict: Exactly What It Says on the Twin
This anime is at once not as skeezy as it sounds while also just as skeezy as it sounds – by which I mean that while the plot consists of “pair of twins both coincidentally fall in love with their childhood-friend neighbor,” it does at least take 9 whole minutes to get to a bath scene.
More seriously though, I can see this anime appealing to the kind of crowd that likes cute anime girls and earnest romantic dramas – the premiere of Love Is Indivisible does, to its credit, make several decent storytelling decisions, like giving both main female characters a genuine point of view that feels (relatively) natural and sympathetic rather than insultingly inane. It also does a speedrun through the cast’s early childhood years, sparing the viewer from boredom while still giving everyone enough characterization and backstory for the plot to function as a bona fide drama, as opposed to a blatant male fantasy with the romance aspect as poorly disguised window dressing.
… And then, every now and again, the camera directs itself unerringly to specific body parts, reminding the viewer that yes, this is indeed still an anime designed to appeal mostly to horny guys.

Jel’s verdict: I’m getting too old for this…
I have trouble taking these kinds of dramatic high school romance stories seriously. Yes, I know at that age everything feels very intense and your whole world can revolve around your crush, but I can’t stop thinking ehhh give it a year or two you’ll get over it. This is more of a me problem then a problem with the anime. I think they actually do a decent job depicting both sisters’ feelings while giving them a little personality beyond just “I like this boy”. It’s a solid effort, maybe I’m just too old to appreciate it.
