Memory flashback of the episode: When I was a child watching this on CN, I did not know that sea anemones were named after a flower, so I thought she was called anemone because her personality is like a sea anemone, aesthetically beautiful but hiding a poison sting.
I love Gee’s mecha commentary, always cool to get those insights! To me the oddest thing about The End is that its control interface is so different from the fighter pilot inspired interfaces of the other LFOs, even the Nirvash.
Honestly I don’t think your younger self was far off the mark – Anemone is almost certainly named after the sea anemone rather than the flower. I’m not going to say why here because it’s a spoiler, but if you think about it for a bit you can probably work it out!
It’s always a delight to have Gee on, we try and get him as much as possible but scheduling can be tricky given the time gaps.
