Also watching Lazarus and agreed, even 5 episodes in it’s hard to fathom how stupid the core premise of the show is, and “hopeful scientist gone mad because of humanity overpopulating/climate change/etc.” is the most boring trick in the writer’s playbook. Disagree on it being that judgemental on the people using the drugs themselves though, feels more like the usual, cynical, ‘everyone is disaffected and driven to hopelessness’ plot, just done really stupidly.
I’m glad I personally ducked out after episode 1
So, uh… is Tsurumaki turning Gundam into a super robot show??
Gundam has gotten pretty out there in the past while still passing itself off as a real robot franchise, so I don’t think we’re quite there yet. The lines between the two have always been blurry to begin with, it’s honestly more of a vibes based definition.
