Good to see y’all are starting to see the light of horse girls.
I kinda agree with Aqua about CITY in a way, i had been moderately enjoying it while watching it weekly (besides the stellar ep 5), but recently i ended up binging 4 episodes in a row to catch up and it was a chore to sit through it all when only like a third of the jokes landed for me. Thankfully episode 9 brought me back, super fun.
Everything Jel is saying about Call of the Night sounds great, and i kinda wish i hadn’t dropped it in s1 due to the relationship between the main pair feeling a bit toxic in a way i didn’t appreciate. Maybe i’ll try to pick it back up and power through those parts.
Since recording I have made it to Uma Musume season 2, I’m sure we we’ll talk more about it as the new season airs next month.
This arc of Call of the Night has been fantastic. If you think you might watch it someday, you may want to be careful next podcast episode, there will be some major spoilers.
