I don’t think This Monster Wants To Eat Me is particularly trying to be a horror series, to be fair. The main draw, at least to me, is the drama and push and pull between the three main leads. The fantastical elements just help make the situation more heightened and make the emotions run higher. I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit, the twist in ep 4 has me very interested for where the story will go next. Also, the background music is great, i think.
