GLORIO Winter 2015 Anime Guide Part 2
It’s time for part deux of our highly esteemed season preview and for some reason, Jel has given me the lion’s part of the stuff that actually looks halfway decent to speculate about.

Everyone quivers in terror for an entire episode. Except for Kamui, who is too busy trying to drown people in shit. Literally.
We’re back a bit earlier this season with that feature where I can pretend to write for Pitchfork again, and in grand music industry tradition, we’ll start picking the best song of the season already when the season’s still going on, just to get it out of the way before the yearly wrap-up content.
Shinnosuke delivers COOL JUSTICE to a creepy arsonist.
In a very special episode of Psycho-Pass 2, Akane takes a shower, Kamui takes a train and Tow Ubakuta takes a shit on this entire franchise.
Actually, it’s about ethics in Kamen Rider journalism.
Shinnosuke has figured out the truth behind the mysterious robberies, but the Special Unit’s efforts to investigate further are being blocked from higher up.
Yuna Yuki a member of her middle school’s Hero Club, a rag-tag bunch of goody-two-shoes who offer their help to whomever needs it. When even the Gods of their world recruit the Hero Club girls to fight mysterious invaders named Vertex, Yuna refuses to budge from her desire to become a true heroine.
Amidst a mysterious alien invasion, high school student Shinichi Izumi discovers his hand has a mind of its own. Everything but hilarity ensues.
In a dark age of witchcraft and demons running amok, the sickly King of Valiante trusts his vizier Mendoza to rid the land of misery and disease by hunting down witches and warlocks. When a witch gives birth while burning on the stake, a mysterious armour-clad fiend saves the baby and gallops off into the dark. Seventeen years later, Germán Luis reveals the truth behind the inquisition to a particularly interested prostitute, while his son León is chased by the king’s guard.
If you go about doing a season preview, it is only obvious you also close off on a season review. In The Wrap-Up, all of our contributors get to shine a spotlight on the show they thought to be the very best of the past few weeks, as well as reflect back on the preview to see which shows let us down the most.
After Nine’s announcement, Twelve and Lisa anxiously wait for the atomic bomb to explode, while the police desperately try to evacuate the city. However, Shibazaki is doubtful whether Nine would actually try to kill anyone.
It’s time for the final part of our season preview, featuring the highly anticipated Parasyte, the return of Psycho-Pass, Studio Ghibli’s (sort of) first foray into television anime and (not so) many, many more!
Jel’s a bit busy, and because he hates you almost as much as he loves me, he put me in charge of handling the rest of our preview guide for the upcoming fall system. That means twice as much unfiltered vitriol and more unwarranted music references than you can shake a stick at, but you’ll be glad to hear that even to me, this line-up doesn’t look to be complete rubbish. We have some high-concept fantasy blockbusters in Garo and Rage of Bahamut, a couple of shounen juggernauts in the making, and the glorious return of the best kids’ show that doesn’t involve Tony Stark partying all over the world.
Summer is generally the least interesting period of the year in the world of music, yet I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the sheer amount of enjoyable anime songs this season. I suppose the guy running many a voice actress’s lackluster soprano through Protools deserves a break as well. In any case, it’s time to select the best of the best as the season comes to its end.
Nine turns himself in to the police, but Twelve doesn’t know how to face him after what he did to save Lisa. Meanwhile, Shibazaki confronts the brain behind the Athena project.
Twelve rushes to Lisa’s rescue, while Nine heads out to retrieve the stolen plutonium from its secret location. Meanwhile, Shibazaki and Hamura finally get a key witness in the Athena scandal to talk.
When Five manages to blow up Sphinx’s hideout and Twelve starts to question his resolve, Lisa feels she’s overstayed her welcome. Meanwhile, Shibazaki uncovers an important lead and starts an investigation of his own.
Nine and Twelve continue their airport battle against a seemingly invincible Five. When Shibazaki and co. arrive at the scene and Lisa gets captured, Sphinx find themselves having to work together with their sworn enemy.
Unbeknownst to the police, Five sends out a fake Sphinx message to the public in order to lure in Nine and Twelve.
