In the year 20XX Neo Tokyo is dominated by street gangs of disillusioned youths. To prevent all-out war breaking out, the government has decreed all conflicts should be resolved through ‘Extreme Baseball’ matches.

There’s a power cut and the life support stops, but while the body died, Keina’s mind entered the game and became Cayna (with a C and a Y), an overpowered half-elf. 200 years passed but Keina’s efforts in the game in the past are still relevant and available, such as the children she made in the game. Oh right, yeah, she has some adopted children in the game, who haven’t seen their mother for 200 years.
Kawai Mai has recently joined the police force, and is to start working out of a local police box. There she meets Fuji Seiko, her superior and ex-member of Criminal Affairs, who is just a little jaded about the job.
In the near future, a terminal disease that only affects men has devastated the global population. After awakening from cryosleep, Reito Mizuhara discovers he is one of only five men left alive and immune to the disease, and is tasked with repopulating the Earth.
For their first year-end post, Peter decides to stay on the positive side and write nice things about shows they dropped part-way through. Makes sense?

Scotland Loves Animation is a yearly festival that runs in Glasgow and Edinburgh, bringing a curated selection of premieres and classic movies to the big screen for a week in October. Three of us from the GLORIO crew were there this month for the latest instalment, where we watched fifteen different films in the charmingly cosy Edinburgh Filmhouse cinema.

Outside the colonies, a dangerous uncharted land known as The Labyrinth is constantly being explored and colonized by mankind’s mech mounted exploration team, the Markers. Memempu is a child prodigy who dreams of one day becoming a Marker. Her father Gagumber is strictly opposed to this on account of her young age and the dangers of the occupation. After a giant creature destroys their hometown, the two set out on a journey into the Labyrinth.
Shouko Komi is the most popular girl in school, adored by many as a cool, aloof beauty who won’t deign to talk to mere mortals. This perception couldn’t be further from the truth, however, as resident good boy Hitohito Tadano realizes that Komi is merely suffering from extreme social anxiety. In spite of this “communicative disorder”, he promises to help her make one hundred friends, but the rest of the school doesn’t exactly appreciate a milquetoast everyman like Tadano cosying up to their queen bee…
