In a SHOCKING TWIST, two of our regular Roundup shows don’t survive to volume 4. Can you guess WHO MISSED THE CUT??? Fortunately the rest of the lineup holds things down with a good mix of comedy and… well, mostly comedy.
Hinazuki has disappeared. Failing in his mission, Satoru is flung back to the present. Still wanted for his mother’s murder, he tries to find help wherever he can. The only person on his side is Airi, who shows cunning beyond her years. With the true killer still free, is anyone safe?
Satoru continues to try and change the future, but senses he may just be playing through what has already happened. With an overzealous devotion to getting Hinazuki past the 1st untouched, he becomes more bold in dealing with her and her mother. Will the strike of midnight change the world?
All of our new Roundup shows have survived the 3 episode test, but will they survive after 4? Rakugo, Dagashi Kashi, and the shorts are holding steady while KONOSUBA, Nurse Witch Komugi R, and Rainbow Days continue to flirt with the chopping block. But hey, we can always count on Osomatsu to be amazing.
Mira tries to beautify her own little chunk of Kyoma’s pad and gets friendly with the local scamps.
Awkwardness within the party is at an all-new high thanks to Ranta peeking on the girls bathing. Luckily, the discovery of an abandoned city full of goblins offers some hope for their future in Grimgar.
Satoru continues to gather information about Hinazuki to get a better timeframe of when she may be kidnapped. After tracking down her home, he gets a firsthand look at her personal hell.
Our comedy-heavy Roundup gets a little heavier with the addition of KONOSUBA and a LOT heavier with Sekko Boys. PLEASE LAUGH AT MY BAD JOKES.
Kyoma and Mira investigate the phantom thief known as “Loser”, infamous for repeatedly failing his heists.
Starved for cash, the party heads out on another goblin hunt. It doesn’t go well.
Satoru has been flung back to the 80’s, surely a fate worse than death. In his desperate search to try and find what will save his mother, he tries to connect with Hinazuki, and learns that there is more to her story than its tragic end.
The Winter 2016 Roundup starts off with a bang as we bring in a new block of shows as well as a few returning contenders. Dagashi Kashi, Ojisan and Marshmallow, Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju, Nurse Witch Komugi R, and Rainbow Days all make their Roundup debut while Snow White with the Red Hair and Durarara return after a season off. Oh, and of course Mr. Osomatsu is still with us, thank the anime gods!
What do you make when you’re short on money, patience or talent? Anime shorts, of course! Jel, Marlin and I got the short end of the stick again, so it’s up to us to watch all the anime no one else wants to watch. So are these shorts the cat’s pajama shorts or can they eat our shorts? You’ll find out shortly!
What would happen if the Matsuno brothers were re-interpreted as a serious TV drama? What would happen if the Matsuno brothers were the Matsuno sisters? What would happen if one Matsuno brother walked in on another while he was… well, just watch the episode.
Aliens invade, wiping out A City in an instant. Can the S-Class heroes (and this B-class nobody, who invited him anyway?) defend the planet from this threat?
In this week’s installment… The New Year may be already upon us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take one last look at the end of this season. In this volume we have two surprise contributors, one welcome and one… well let’s just say they should have worked on it more.
Tis the season for zombies, vampires, blood, and vomiting or at least that’s what this week’s Roundup episodes would have you believe.
The killer invites Saikawa and Moe for a conversation inside the virtual reality. As the police eavesdrop, Saikawa explains how he found out the truth behind the murder, while Moe desperately attempts to confirm the killer’s motive.
We sink our teeth into a whole lot of vampire action this week with Dance With Devils and Owarimonogatari exploring their respective backstories. That’s not necessarily a good thing. At least we always have Osomatsu-san and Miss Monochrome around to keep us amused.
