Manga adaptation by A.C.G.T
Simulcast on Funimation
Premise: The number of people who can fight back against the inhuman invasion is very low, less than 2% of the population. A lab in Alaska has been doing tests to make normal people into Pandoras. Our cast of warriors has been sent to this lab to help with their tests.
Lifesong’s Verdict: Elizabeth Makes a Strong Lead Character
And really Elizabeth is essentially the new protagonist for this next arc and the arc after. I do wonder how much time will be spent on Lana and Satalizer’s fued for Aoi, but this anime has a lot of ground to cover if they plan to reach the conclusion of the E-Pandora story.
Without spoiling too much, Elizabeth story is powerful one of someone in a position of power sympathising with those are trying their best to help humanity, but are treated like lab animals in exchange for their power.
It’s hard to sell someone on the story of a “boob” show, but as someone who reads the manga for the story, Elizabeth is probably my favorite character so I’m hoping to see her story and the story of the E-Pandora’s done justice.
If you are new to Freezing and curious to learn more, I recommend that you either just start here with season two, or give the manga a read. I’m going to attempt to keep up with coverage for this anime as I don’t really expect many people to blog it. Lets hope they do this story justice and don’t get caught up in the silly antics of the first season.
