Recap: Koujo is told not to go looking for trouble, he goes looking for it anyway and loses his head.

Lifesong’s Thoughts: I wanted this anime to either embrace it’s violent side or improve the character dynamics and well it didn’t really make the characters any more interesting, but it did cover Yukina in Kojou’s blood from head to toe.

It seems I was wrong about finishing the arc up this week, but in my defense this entire episode was a long train of infodumping that didn’t really seem all that important at all. I can’t shake the feeling that this show should be better than it is.

I’m honestly a bit confused why I like this anime, it is full of things I think are bad, but I am enjoying it anyway, and not in an ironic sense. Maybe I will have it figured out by the time we reach the ending? Right now I’m having a hard time putting my finger on what it is I like about this anime and why I am willing to forgive the things I don’t.

I don’t have much else to say about this episode, I’m glad the annoying traits these characters showed in episode one have become less prominent, but they have yet to be replaced with something interesting. The characters have some charm to them, but they are lacking… something? None the less I am having more and more fun watching this show as it goes on and so I will continue to cover it.
