Premise
The government has revealed the existence of demi-humans – half human, half monsters like lamias, harpies, centaurs, etc. Naturally, the first thing they do is regulate having sex with them. Thanks to the Interspecies Cultural Exchange Act, our hero is forced to live with a lamia girl who mistakes his basic human decency for love and well, you can figure out the rest.
Jel’s verdict: Two Arms and a Tail to Hold You
You know what? Making fun of Monster Girls would be too easy at this point. Yes it’s an incredibly dumb and transparent harem show with a off-putting premise – seriously, how could you ever be aroused by a cold-blooded reptile? – but there’s something to be said for knowing what you want to do, doing it relatively well, and not hurting anyone else in the process. I mean, there’s nothing particularly offensive or harmful about Monster Girls. If a man and a snake girl want to have gross monster sex, who am I to judge? It’s the most innocent softcore fetish porn possible… that is possible, right? So carry on, Monster Girls fans. I’m not going to decry this as an affront to common human decency or the death of the anime industry. I will just quietly move on to something else.
Iro’s verdict: K I L L M E
My opinion on this disgusting franchise is abundantly clear in the Random Manga Theatre post I wrote years ago. Turns out this premiere was just like the manga! Who could have guessed?
Marlin’s verdict: The Most Faithful Adaptation of All Time
And it’s wasted on this. You know whether or not you wanna jerk off to this already, so I’m not sure if there’s anything more we can add.
I rather enjoyed the honesty of it all. Sit back, relax, and wonder whether you have enough VPNs to hide whatever it is you are watching.
I did.
