As much as I was less than impressed with Sabikui Bisco after its first two episodes – I’ve grown to really like it, and now, after 6 episodes, I’m totally along for the ride. I think the first two episodes were trying way too hard to be “woohh craaazzzyyy and edgy!1!” but after it got past that, it’s actually a pretty fun adventure romp so far, without any particular pretenses or tryhardness. It’s not going to be my anime of the year, probably, but the characters are just charming enough to make it all work.
It’s definitely better now that they’ve settled in. I just wish they could have gotten there a little faster.
