I’d say my top five would be

Honestly though, I’d say the reason I put Pluto 2nd is only because the rest of the shows on my list weren’t anything special. Birdie Wing’s ending was so disappointing I contemplated putting Scott Pilgrim in its place. I was really disappointed how it ended, and Bora was just a bit too out of place. I get now after reading the manga why Bora had to be there, but it was just a little off to me.
After listening to you guys, I think I will go back to Heavenly Delusion, for some reason I never got into it, but I love The Road, which did have some humanity despite the general bleakness, so if it captures some of that I think I’d enjoy it.
Heavenly Delusion has really wide range, some scenes are flat out comedy and some are the heaviest I’ve seen all year. They do a pretty good job balancing it most of the time though.
