  1. Eureka with a machine gun finding the kids was such a core memory for me. I didn’t realize we’d get to it this soon.

    When I started this, I was expecting my rose-colored glasses to be taken away in exchange for a more balanced view on the show, so I’ve been surprised I’m still really impressed by it like you all are. I think E7:AO may have just left such a bad taste in my mouth that it cast a shadow on the original.

    • Yeah I can definitely vibe with that – so far I’ve been impressed by how the show not only lives up to my memories but surpasses them in many ways. It’ll be interesting to see if that holds as we move more into the middle of the show.
