All Your Monies: March 29th 2017

Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Iro) will run down the last week’s new pre-orders, turning a loving or scathing all-seeing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard-earned cash on. This week, AYM returns after a lengthy absence! We’ve got witches, robots, DINOSAURS and lots more!

The Roundup: Fall 2016 Volume 3

The Roundup keeps on truckin’ with our usual batch of animes. Artemis is back but a few shows find themselves flirting with the chopping block, if not being cut altogether. You’ll have to read on to find out more, but I’ll tell you now I would probably never cut a show in which someone can say “Beethoven-senpai” unironically.

The Roundup: Fall 2016 Volume 1

What’s this, anime is good again?!? This week we launch a rock solid lineup for the Fall 2016 Roundup with a couple of other shows joining us next week. Personally I’m already declaring Yuri!! On ICE and March Comes In Like a Lion as anime of the year contenders, we also have delightfully fun shows like ClassicaLoid, Time Bokan 24, and Poco’s Udon World, and for some reason Aqua is still watching Kiss Him, Not Me and Izetta: The Last Witch.

First Look: Izetta, The Last Witch

During Totally-Not-World-War-II, the princess of Totally-Not-Switzerland works to protect her country from Totally-Not-Nazi-Germany. This includes saving and befriending the eponymous Izetta, whose magical powers will almost certainly be the key to ending the war.

The GLORIO Fall 2016 Anime Guide – Part 1

While yes, there is a new anime season upon us, there’s going to be a lot of familiar faces this Fall. Plenty of big names are returning like Haikyuu and Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans (neither of which we’ll be covering, apologies) mixed in with what seems like an unusually high amount of magical girl, idol, and magical girl idol shows.Speaking of returning shows, part 1 of our guide is headlined by the return of Glorio favorite BBK/BRNK, which is totally good despite the 3D, we promise.
