Music is as integral to a piece of media as visuals or plot, which is why for as long as The GLORIO Blog has existed, we have done some variety of a feature about our favourite anime songs. With the decade having come to a close, we’re presenting the most memorable tracks of them all right here, with all the pithy commentary from yours truly you’ve come to expect.
The decade makes us look back and see how we’ve changed these last ten years. When we started the GLORIO Blog over seven years ago, I was billed as the “romance guy”. I still keep that in remembrance in the many awards of my Year End Post. Yet, I can’t help but notice how my tastes have changed over the decade. While I still enjoy a good romance show, my real passion is for good comedies, the kind of shows you can only get from the unique strengths of animation and Japanese sensibilities.
While the GLORIO blog has technically only existed since 2012, we are still declaring the 2010’s “The GLORIO Decade”. And so as we move into the 2020’s, we’re taking a look back at just how GLORIO the decade was. First up: Jel’s favorite anime of the 2010’s

Unfortunately Gee is unable to join in our year end shenanigans, however, now might be a good time to go back and check out some of my favorite “Best of Gee-Man” highlights:
In this edition, we totally post everything here for the sake of helping our readers without shamelessly plugging previous posts or indulging my increasingly unhealthy obsession with Ranmaru from Binbougami Ga!.
Welcome to Round 3 of GLORIO Anime Club! The rules are simple: choose any anime you’ve watched in its entirety and the next randomly chosen person on the list MUST watch it, no questions asked. After watching and documenting their thoughts for your reading pleasure, they get to choose what the next person watches and…
Welcome to another edition of What We Got and What We Thought. This month newcomers Gee-man and Irothtin pop in to show off some loot, Jel gets his nendos on, and I go on a Mandarake buying spree grabbin several older figures as well as some other rather interesting things.
Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew will run down the last week’s new preorders, turning a loving or scathing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard earned cash on. This week, it’s slim pickings as we’re down to five…
Welcome to our first What We Got and What We Thought, our monthly post were we showcase all the cool stuff we got the month prior and what we thought about it. Three years removed from the infamous “Endless Eight”, is Kyoto Animation trying to be the new Ghibli?
