Recap: As Yuuya continues to struggle with his TSF, his tension with Yui boils over into direct confrontation.

Jel’s Thoughts: WHY AM I STILL WATCHING THIS? As you can tell by the Queen’s Blade style breasts in the header image, Total Eclipse busts out some sheer stupidity to break up the racism and sexual tension between the two main characters. Gross fan service aside, everything else is TOTALLY PREDICTABLE. Yui secretly concedes Yuuya’s talents while in the shower, Friend Guy encourages Yuuya to give Yui a “ride”, and the whole thing ends in a TSF fight between the two that Yuuya kind of wins after a miraculous epiphany.

Perhaps the only thing that keeps me watching is kind of wanting to see how the Russian girls get taken into the fold and my now poetic need to see Yui and Yuuya hook up. Turn this thing into a Macross style Space Opera Love Triangle and we might be back in business. Other than that, I got nothing. Please, if anyone else out there can give me a reason to stick with this, let me know.
