Jel’s Thoughts: Oh Ixion… this show and only this show could pull off a stunt this dumb and pointless without making you smash your screen. It helps the writers even apologized in the next episode preview, since that’s exactly the kind of thing Ixion would do. Much like its predecessor Sengoku Collection, it really speaks to the amazing amounts of creative freedom Brains Base has with this thing. A lot of people don’t even realize this started out as a game adaptation at this point, and it makes me really curious what Capcom thinks of all of this.

Despite loving the attitude though, I can’t decide if I loved or hated this episode. I suppose it beat doing a recap or something, and maybe it was even better than just doing filler with the cast. Maybe that’s how you’re supposed to feel, like the confused boat driver asking all the pertinent questions at the end? I JUST DON’T KNOW, and there’s really not much more to say about it. As the boat driver says, “aren’t we nearing our final episode?” Assuming that’s true, I’m ready to just leave this for what it was and move on.
