Recap: Azuki becomes super clingy after Yoto’s kiss, but shes obviously not the focus of this last arc. Instead, a new mystery has appeared in the form of not just the past of Yoto, but of Tsukiko and Tsukushi as well. What happened to change the world the way it has?
Looks like the show was giving us one more dose of Azuki fanservice before we ride on the one-way train to Tsukikoville. Not that I mind, Tsukiko’s always been the best girl, not to mention the fact she’s been getting quite ignored lately despite her being the main heroine. I did find the really frilly panties distressing in a weird way. I think they actually managed to make Azuki look younger. The pause durring the panty shots was also wayyyyyyyy too long, but I guess that’s something I really shouldn’t put past Henneko.
I was really starting to feel sorry for Tsukiko, so I’m having high hopes that this last arc can at least give us a good tease before ending. It’s hard not to understand her insecurities. Despite the attention he’s given her, Yoto all to readily flirts with anything that moves. This whole idea of “knowing him longest” seems kinda petty, but you gotta realize that with the way he always talks about his …er… interests, Tsukiko feels like shes at a disadvantage.
Not much else to say for this episode. I imagine the bulk of the drama will be focused in these last two episodes as the duo travel back in time. Once again, Tsukushi’s bits were hilarious. The only thing I’ll probably miss about this time travel business is that her physical comedy is going to be less present.
