Recap: Keima goes on a hunch and searches through his conquests to find who else may hold a goddess within them.
Alright, as much as I was disappointed last week, I’m starting to remember why I stuck with the Goddesses arc for the full run. While any part involving the stupid demon politics really turned me off immediately, parts like this where Keima just gets to be Keima were the best.
Yui is definitely my favorite girl of the Goddess candidates. Idno if this just says something about me and assertive women, but her scenes with Keima after the conquest are always pretty great. I guess you could call it reverse gap moe. With Keima always being this unflappable badass, it’s funny to see him being the one getting flustered for once.
Unfortunately, these fun times will often be punctuated by demon world drama, and that’s what I dread most. There should still be a bit of fun left though, Keima has basically entered into hard mode in a bid to try and get every girl to fall in love with him at the same time. Here’s to appreciating the reconquest while it lasts.
