Recap: Keima’s efforts become more focused as he searches for the goddesses, only to find Tsukiyo’s goddess has found him out first. To make matters worse, she caught him flirting with Shiori. The smooth operator he is, he quickly deals with her anger, but does that mean it’ll only get harder from here?
For a supposedly covert op, i always found this little fight with Vulcanus to be kind of ridiculous. One would think somebody keeping an eye out on the school would definitely notice the giant desks flying around, but I guess we’re to assume Vintage took the day off or something. I suppose it doesn’t help that I’m not a huge fan of Tsukiyo as a heroine anyway. Keima really saves the day with his patented brand of nonsense that inevitably turns serious as he professes his devotion to protecting her.
With another goddess, the curse is lifted. Unfortunately, since that would be too easy, there’s another barrier of Apollo’s own design that is keeping them from bringing Kanon back. With her life out of danger, all the drama that came with it is instead turned into Demon World Politics Time! Yaaaay… I do love it when Keima uses people’s weaknesses in his favor, so having him negotiate with Nora worked really well. However, this seems to upset Haqua.
I’ve always felt the Haqua romance teasing always seemed off to me. Sure, Keima was a big help to her when they first met, but She gets to experience his rotten personality first-hand on a consistent basis and still is blushing with the rest of them. It’s for that reason that I always liked Elsie. Sure, she’s the dumb comic relief, but after she gets to know what kind of person Keima is like, she can be friends with him, but it’s not like she’s in love with him. I’ll still never understand why they decided to sideline her out of this story almost completely. I know for a fact that she’s one of the most popular girls, and she brought some of the best slapstick comedy to this story. Coming up next, it’s time for Yui to shine. Any episode with her is usually comedy gold, so I welcome that with open arms.

The Haqua-Diana harem hijinks at the end of the episode had me rolling my eyes. I wish they would at least throw us some omake gags of Elsie trying to cover for Kanon.
If only. At least we still have Shiori and Yui to give us our recommended dosage of cute and hilarious.
