This time: In Bura!, by Endou Tatsuya

Alright, let’s get this shit over with.

Koichi is a regular high school student who has a crush on the hot Itanami, Turns out she’s a vampire (neither a Dead Apostle nor a True Ancestor, as it turns out, and thus beneath my interest) and his blood is super tasty or something. Thus, every time he gets a stupid anime injury and spurts high-pressure blood all over the place, she loses control of herself and starts licking him all over to get a taste of it. Usually while half-naked, but also very often while totally naked.

And guess what? That’s it. The gimmick never changes for all 12 chapters. New girls show up who are also vampires (or the familiars of vampires, but there’s no functional difference here), but they all want Koichi’s blood and his dick, not necessarily in that order. It’s nothing but boobs, dumb jokes, and skeevy poses. That is this entire manga.

At least In Bura! being totally crap lets me point to other manga that managed to be packed with fanservice and not completely suck. Foremost that comes to mind is My Lovely Ghost Kana, which is probably the most explicit manga I’ve ever done for this feature. Kana was packed to the brim with sex and boobs and all that, but it still had a heartwarming story worth telling at the heart of it, unlike In Bura!. Even last week’s share, Shina Dark, managed to tell a pleasantly fun fantasy story in addition to a bunch of unnecessary fanservice. Take notes, aspiring mangaka! Don’t make fanservice your only gimmick or else you’ll be axed after twelve chapters!

Verdict: Sucks
This is among the worst manga I’ve ever read, which is saying a lot considering some of the shit I’ve had to put up with for Random Manga Theatre. Trust me, you’d be better off forgetting In Bura! even exists. Please don’t read this, don’t degrade yourself with such pointless media.
