The GLORIO Chat Gaiden: FLCL Progressive First Impressions

Mere minutes after the airing of FLCL Progressive episode 1, Team GLORIO USA got on their microphones to record some hot takes. Shockingly, we didn’t totally hate it???

  1. I liked the first episode but thought it lacked the manic energy of the original, and it was the energy that made FLCL memorable. The new girl (I didn’t catch her name, alas), reminds me a little of Mamimi, and her father is being hidden from us…considering they used the whole episode to reveal Haruko, can we guess the absent father is Nauta?
