  1. If Kaguya-sama have a second season i think it will probably adapt the Ishigami arc( his backstory basically and how he join the student council) since it at the last minute show a pretty cool cameo. Overall it a very good adaptation. You should check out this 4chan reaction on chapter 45 of the manga( the final episode chapter). It priceless (https://streamable.com/9zef9)

I also like another show this season called Quintessential Quintuplets. I think it a very good harem show. Less fanservice, more plot and character development. Also the series actually have an ending in sight since the story is told as a flashback of the MC on his wedding day.

Shield hero is still problematic and people still think it the best thing ever. I found it even more creepy after i found out the punishment for the the bitch princess character in the novel and the fact that the author base that character on someone he dislike in realife, effectively make this web novel a revenge fic

    • It’s understandable that Jel thinks Kaguya-sama ends up stuck in a rut à la Takagi-san, but based on the manga, a potential season 2 would actually propel the story forward with a bunch of actual plot and character development.

Also, I distinctly remember screaming about Malty’s “punishment” in I think it’s episode 29 of the podcast? It’s absolutely reprehensible and I fully blame light novel publishers for legitimizing this kind of vindictive crap by scanning the Internet for misogynistic hacks like whoever wrote this Shield Hero affront and offering them a contract.
