  1. I keep forgetting to mention it but I don’t think reuenthal did actually rape that lady solely for the fact that mittermeyer given his back story would have legit just shot him then and there given how hung up he was on that.

The entire talk between mittermeyer and oberstein over what to do and the later one between reuenthal and oberstein does reallly demonstrate one of the reasons why everyone hates oberstein.

I love the fact that oberstein pointed out that the founding of the dynasty involved a quick backstab on the previous prime minister with mittermeyer being on record back then saying something like power being the source of authority. On the other hand its not wrong for mittermeyer to say that the new regime is considered by many to be legitimate because it is morally right. Reinhard did clean up many of the excesses of the old regime.

Reuenthal vs oberstein is funny mainly because they were doing the angel vs devil thing with mittermeyer in the middle.

I do agree that oberstein not getting angry just makes the viewer want to see him get angry. His reaction to getting out argued like the Lang thing was just to beep boop he is correct better not do it again.

I see dusty as someone that actually has nothing to do because he is basically an admiral without a fleet. The irregulars are so small merkatz could do it by himself.

Reinhard this season has been doing work in trying to be a better ruler. Aside from his comment in these episodes that institutions should be geared for people of normal talent, in a previous episode he was reading at all the goldenbaum leaders for inspiration and laughing at them all. He might hate being the ruler itself rather than someone aiming for the top but he is putting in the time and effort to actually ruling.

It’s kind of depressing that even with Reinhard restraining himself war still broke again within a year from the peace. Worse his admirals actually buy into the whole warrior king thing and actively wish for it. Bittenfield once again just voicing what everyone is thinking.

Also I’m surprised you guys didn’t mention that the museum they visited on odin was the old palace itself. There was even a good logh bit where they didn’t emphasize it but still slipped it in when the palace was shown there was a rudolf statue really big one too and then when poplan was taking his picture with that empire lady the background was that same rudolf statues’ head.

  2. I forgot again but there was that bit where Reinhard was going on a tirade against republican democracy for their treatment of Yang and mittermeyer points out that autocracy didn’t really accept reinhard in the form of the goldenbaums too.
