While holding off another wave of TSFs, Argos meets up with Inia and the remains of Team Russia. The rebel group reaches Anchorage base and releases the live BETA specimens being held their to cover their tracks, however their actions could have much greater consequences than expected.
As the group’s journey continues, Kon begins to feel homesick and misses his video games, manga and junk food. With no such things in their world, the rest of the group does their best to understand and fill his needs with what they have.
With Yamaken coming into his feelings and Shizuku feeling betrayed, the pair seem to grow apart again. Haru’s past is explored, and while it explains his irrational fears, it does not absolve him of his petulant behavior.

Summary: In the first half, Yuno and Miyako enjoy the first snow of the year, despite having to study for their exams. Miyako also fails horribly at becoming a poet. In the second half, Sae’s little sister Chika makes her obligatory, one-per-season return to Hidamari Apartments to adress some enormous elephants in the room.

Cryska and Cui team up with Argos as the group desperately tries to find an escape route. Allegiances are tested as the group rescues Commander Sandek and new factions lay claim to the attack.
ED sends word that he’s returning home, causing his subordinates to fight over who is his Right Hand Man. Along the way he receives a new Alma powered sword from the mysterious woman who summoned Kon.
The group of thieves finds out that Sinbad is staying at the hotel where Alibaba is being “held hostage” and lead a proactive strike to free Alibaba and defeat Sinbad. Once they find Alibaba Sinbad shows up, and promptly beats them all without even needing his magical equipment.
After a long, long break, Incoherent Babble returns, ably staffed by Zigg, Jel, Marlin and Iro. Together they talk JoJo, murder, clothes exploding off of people, the Wizard, the Wii Mini and, inevitably, Persona. It’s so baaaaaaaaaaaad. Get into it here Show notes after the jump
Haru being Haru, the threat of Yamaken instills fear in losing Shizuku instead of the confidence to ensure she remains by his side. Just as Shizuku is about to open up to him again, Haru’s jealousy tries to override her free will, only serving to driver her away once again.

While playing with her kitties, Rin notices another note attached to the leg of one of them. The note asks her to “save the cafeteria”. With Riki in tow, Rin visits the cafeteria and asks the cafeteria lady if anything is wrong. She tells them all is well, so they go on their way.
“Memories of First Love” is a delightfully sunny, wistful tune that makes a perfect down to Earth counterpoint to Kanon’s pop idol stardom. I am a total sucker for voice actress Kana Asumi’s appropriately plain vocals, and perhaps an even bigger sucker for the gorgeous minor key pre-chorus that would feel perfectly at home in a decades old classic pop song. So kick back and enjoy the song, maybe it will help ease the wait for a third season of the anime.
Summary: The landlady pays a visit to Hidamari Apartments, bringing the Game of Life with her. After the girls find out that most of the events in the game are things they can’t relate to at all, the girls decide to modify the game and add some rules of their own. Nazuna becomes prime minister…
