Believe it or not, we’re already at the midpoint of the Summer season and our Roundup shows are in peak form. Sweetness and Lightning and Amanchu continue to bring happiness to the world, Art Club comes dangerously close to making me angry but pulls through, and 91 Days will make me hesitate the next time I eat lasagna.
…you can go watch the dumb Bluray extras?
After their music video has gone viral, Aqours are invited to Tokyo, where they will be performing alongside other debuting school idol groups in preparation for the grand Love Live competition. Given that every single member has the attention span of a 3-year-old, however, things soon go haywire.
This being summer we have quite a few Glorio members on the go this week, but me, Iro, and Marlin are here to hold things down in The Roundup. … Because I decided to do something fun and productive with my time (i.e. going on vacation) in stead of wasting it on this lousy piece of work. But don’t worry! In celebration of Sunshine! recycling the exact same plot as its illustrious predecessor, you can always recycle some of my earlier posts and pretend it’s this week’s one. See you next week!
The Roundup hits mid-season form as nearly every show has their best episode yet. 91 Days is particularly great with a surprising change in mood while Art Club is becoming dangerously close to something I can actually recommend.

In order to get increase Aqours’ popularity, Chika decides to adopt Yoshiko’s “fallen angel” gimmick, yet Yoshiko herself wants nothing more than to grow out of her geeky delusions and live the life of an average high school student. Furthermore, Aqours’ other members aren’t exactly keen on welcoming ‘Yohane’ to the party.
Aquagaze and Irothtin love Digimon. Zigg has never watched Digimon. 16 years after the original Digimon Adventure started airing, can it hold up to Aqua and Iro’s preteen memories? Can it convert Zigg, seeing it for the first time? Can anyone stop us from crying our eyes out?
Rohan and Koichi stumble upon a mysterious unmarked street and its spectral residents.
The fun Roundup shows continue to do their thing, which means I now know more about white sauces and how air pressure affects your body underwater than I ever did. Meanwhile, Artemis and I try to explain what’s wrong with the serious shows without sounding like we don’t like them. I’m telling you, 91 Days just needs color coded suits and everything will be fine.
Chaos begins their counterattack by using a Walkure concert to weaken Windermere’s control of the system. Hayate must not only confront how he feels about Freyja, he also has to process a shocking revelation from his father’s past.

The First Looks have finally ended and we are finally fully staffed, so let’s get back in to the Roundup! Looks like we’ve got another batch of easy going comedies this season with just a touch of sadness and dash of violence to keep things interesting. What shows could I possibly be referring to? You’ll just have to read on and find out.
Rumor has it that mangaka auteur Rohan Kishibe has moved to Morioh, and Koichi’s a big fan.
Windermere is on the verge of conquering the galaxy, but more importantly IT’S FREYJA’S BIRTHDAY!!!
