Turned out 15th century Spain had just as many black-leather wearing brooding bad boys and salacious succubi as present-day Tokyo! With some help from Rage of Bahamut and Terror in Resonance animation wizards MAPPA and Kamen Rider alumnus Yasuko Kobayashi, however, The Carved Seal of Flames became a lot more than the sum of its parts. Bloody brothers Aqua and Gee bring the final verdict on this metal opera brought to life.

Shizuku and Haru start spending more time with each other, but things are still a little awkward after Shizuku’s birthday. After spending some time apart, spring begins and that means a shakeup in the school order! After the ski party, Sasayan and Natsume start to fight. Lack of maturity on both sides prevents the two from patching things up. Later, it turns out that Shizuku’s birthday is Valentine’s Day. This gives a pretty adorable excuse for all the girls to get together and make chocolate, while also letting Haru do something for Shizuku.

GLORIO Spring 2015 Anime Guide Part 3

The final part of our guide goes in strong on the nostalgia with new Digimon and Lupin III series, plus we get Trigger’s latest attempt to SAVE ANIME with Ninja Slayer. Meanwhile, I go against my better judgement and remain cautiously optimistic about Punchline and Yamda-kun and the 7 Witches, two comedies that probably won’t be winning any Anime of the Year awards.
