2010 gave us quite a few memorable shows From the exciting Durarara!! to the irreverent Panty & Stocking to the artsy flair of The Tatami Galaxy, there was plenty to love. Still, even beyond those titles, nothing stood out to me more than the mix of supreme absurdity and quiet insight that was Arakawa Under the Bridge.
Haruka reveals the big secret between herself and Kanata. It turns out that the two of them are twin sisters with a twist. They share a mom but they each have a different dad and one of their fathers is an arsonist.

Summary: When she returns home from school, Sasami discovers a mysterious DVD made by Kamiomi and the Yagami sisters. The disc contains some footage of her shopping as filmed by the sisters following her around with cameras, though Sasami fails to remember ever going to the mall.
The girls go to an island retreat for some training. While there they go though bonding exercises.
War is brewing. The Winter Nation is charged with taking back their lost island. Meanwhile the Hero works to restore the demons to power to the city taken by the Humans.
Megumu starts the Kusaribe’s plan by destroying a branch of the Tree of Genesis. Meanwhile, Hakaze is troubled by the final words of Jun while visiting her home. Is it her growing feelings for Yoshino that unintentionally slew Aika?
With Haruka gone, Manabe is at a loss and reverts back to his former life. Yuriko will not stand for it however, and with Muroto’s help they go on a trip to find her.

The result of their union is something beautiful, strange, and not for everyone, but they very well may have achieved that goal.
