All Your Monies: June 3rd
Looks like you are all stuck with me again this week. Maybe if I fill the post up with swimsuit figures Zigg and Jel will stop leaving me in charge.

Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Aquagaze) will run down the last week’s new preorders, turning a loving or scathing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard earned cash on. This week, it’s a battle of sexy between Gilgamesh and six girls. Gil wins obviously. Be warned there’s some mildly NSFW stuff below.

This week, we have kicking girls, singing girls,…

This week we have a really cool Yoko and Nia set and uhhhh some other things!
Summary: In the first half, Yuno, Miyako and those random classmates you see in every other episode visit Miss Yoshinoya’s house in order to help her clean out her room. Seriously. They also bump into her younger brother and his child. Seriously. In the second half, the tenants of Hidamari Apartments throw a Christmas party,…
Hello, and welcome to All Your Monies, where The Glorio Blog’s resident toy and figure collecting crew (and Aquagaze) will run down the last week’s new preorders, turning a loving or scathing eye over what’s been put out for you to spend your hard earned cash on. This week, I’m ashamed to say I’m way…
Summary: In the first half, Yuno and Miyako enjoy the first snow of the year, despite having to study for their exams. Miyako also fails horribly at becoming a poet. In the second half, Sae’s little sister Chika makes her obligatory, one-per-season return to Hidamari Apartments to adress some enormous elephants in the room.
Summary: The landlady pays a visit to Hidamari Apartments, bringing the Game of Life with her. After the girls find out that most of the events in the game are things they can’t relate to at all, the girls decide to modify the game and add some rules of their own. Nazuna becomes prime minister…
Summary: The Yamabuki cultural festival is nearing, and much to Yoshinoya’s dismay, Yuno’s class decides to turn their classroom into a haunted house. Wow, never heard that before. These art students sure are creative. During preparations, Miyako sprains her hand, so it’s up to Yuno and the others to help her out. In the second…
Summary: In the first half, Yuno and Miyako recieve the assignment to design a poster for Yamabuki’s annual cultural festival. In case you couldn’t guess already, Yuno considers this to be a Very Big Deal, whereas Miyako mostly just goofs off. In the second half, Yuno meets up with her old senior Arisawa, which gives…
Summary: In the completely irrelevant first half, Yuno and Miyako have to draw themselves in class. The lesbian subtext flies through the roof, launches itself into the moon’s orbit, and crash lands somewhere in Russia. In the surprisingly grim second half, Hiro sinks into a depression and runs to Miss Yoshinoya and — of course…
Summary: In the first half, Nazuna stresses out over her parents visiting and wanting to taste her cooking. Hiro and Yuno help her out in the most detailed cooking sequence in anime this side of Fate/Stay Night. In the second half, Nori wakes up from a nightmare and ends up hanging out with Sae at…
Summary: It’s time for Yamabuki’s annual swimming meet! Nori, Miyako and Sae get wet and Yuno is given the very important task of photographer. Meanwhile, Yoshinoya makes glorious abuse of the situation to make the temperature rise.
Zigg returns to take the reigns and Jel, Iro, Lifesong and Aqua join him to offer insight on the latest news and then follow up last podcast’s preview with what we actually thought of the shows of this season. It’s a journey full of disagreement, tension and lashings of rather violent sex.
Yuno and Miyako want to do something fun on their last day of summer vacation, but the weather puts the kibosh on their plans. The next day, Yamabuki High holds its annual emergency training, Nazuna needs to go to the toilet while the school is imaginarily on fire, and Yuno meets her newest worst enemy.
Yuno goes full creeper in her relentless quest for helping her underclassman while Sae and Hiro continue their honeymoon school trip to Hokkaido. It’s time for the hot springs episode of the season and Shinbo probably gets arrested. Again. Eventually, everyone eats Genghis Khan and Nori and Nazuna conclude that Yuno is a complete idiot. Euphemistically, of course.
There are still six art students living together in an apartment building and they still don’t do jack shit on a daily basis. What did you expect?
With Zigg disappeared to parts unknown, Irothtin takes the reigns of the show with his trademark bitterness and is joined by Jel, Lifesong and Timmy. Together they dig into the new anime season, discussing what we’re excited about, what we think will be a disaster, and what can go straight to hell.
Next thursday will see the return of Hidamari Sketch (also known in the USA as Sunshine Sketch) to the small screen. After 3 seasons, 2 OVAs and over a dozen DVD-exclusive episodes, the audience does not seem to be quite done with this adorable franchise just yet. No other show within the moe genre has ever…
