Five Years of GLORIO: 2012-2013

To celebrate our 5th anniversary, we decided to relive our favorite part of forcing ourselves to watch every anime that ever comes out: the surprises. Just about every season a show or two pops up out of nowhere and turns out to be pretty good, and we wanted to give a shout out to a few you might of missed. It’s August again, and another Summer Wonder Festival has come and gone bringing a flood of new announcements and a sea of broke wallets in it’s wake. Join us as we sort through the chaos and bring you the cream of the convention crop with our top figure picks from this seasons Wonfest.

Kotoura-san Episode 11

After the ESP Club’s encounter with the attacker, Haruka begins to blame herself again for everything that’s happened. While Moritani tries to contact Manabe to cheer her up, she spends some time talking with Detective Tsukino.

Kotoura-san Episode 10

Moritani is accused of being the mysterious attacker after being found near the latest victim. Haruka and the ESP club want to help but the group is divided on what to do.

Kotoura-san Episode 9

After recovering from her shocking vision, Haruka and the ESP club learn someone is attacking High School girls around the area. Despite her apprehension, the group considers taking further action.

Kotoura-san Episode 8

Haruka comes down with a cold and as Manabe takes care of her he discovers a surprising side effect. After she recovers, Manabe must pay for his perversions by taking her out on what is most definitely not a date.

Kotoura-san Episode 7

Summer vacation continues and the ESP club eventually leaves Grandpa’s house to return home. Haruka is determined to spend more time with Manabe, but for the first time since they met he seems to be hiding something.

Kotoura-san Episode 5

Haruka has returned to school and Moritani decides to join the ESP club, prompting Yuriko to throw an all-night party for both events. Several days later the school participates in a sports festival and Haruka is conscripted into running a relay race.

Kotoura-san Episode 4

With Haruka gone, Manabe is at a loss and reverts back to his former life. Yuriko will not stand for it however, and with Muroto’s help they go on a trip to find her.

Kotoura-san Episode 3

Haruka and Manabe’s relationship begins to heat up as Yuriko tries to help the couple get closer. Unable to control her jealously as she looks on, Moritani decides to take action.

Kotoura-San Episode 2

Word spreads about Haruka’s power and she finds herself recruited by the president of the ESP Research Club. She joins the club along with Manabe, but the club president may have an agenda of her own.
