Kousei Arima is a former child prodigy. After his mother’s death, he swears off the piano, instead deciding to spend his time like any other normal middle schooler. After being cajoled by his best friend Tsubaki, he goes to a get-together where he meets Kaori Sawabe, an energetic violin player. She has her sights set on his friend Ryota, but for Kousei, it’s love at first sight.
Yato goes to fight Rabou, but Hiyori accidentally comes along. Realizing she is the reason for Yato’s weakness, he destroys her mind, awakening Yato’s killer instincts.
Bishamon assembles her team to clean up the Vent but can’t seem to put aside her grudge. Yato continues to feel the effects of the blight as Hiyori tries to help patch up his growing rift with Yukine.
Yukine runs off, and starts to give in to temptation. The sins hurt Yato just as he gets in a confrontation with the war god Bishimon. With a wide array of Regalia tools, Yato is put on the ropes. Thinking of no other option, Hiyori rushes to get help.
Hiyori is still struggling with her new spirit form, but Yato is in no shape to help her. In an attempt to get him a new Regalia, Hiyori accidentally puts herself in grave danger, requiring Yato to make the save.
Hanamura faces down the Tree of Genesis. After the climax, our main characters come together for one final heart to heart over their beloved Aika.
The team goes through their final prep work before assaulting the Tree using an ingenious mix of diversion and subterfuge.
Recap: Hakaze unveils her plan to go back into time, but doesn’t actually do without a good half an episode of everyone else talking about it first.
Recap: Hakaze continues to push Hanamura to his limits, causing Evangeline to want to regroup and talk through both side’s ideas. Meanwhile, on the way to Aika’s grave, Mahiro and Yoshino meet up once again to put the matter of Aika’s boyfriend to rest.
Megumu is back from his travels around the world in order to sew the seeds of discontent against the Tree. Back in the Yoshino and Hakaze camp, the poor girl still can’t get a good grasp of her emotions, and thus spends most of the episode being hilariously adorable.
Megumu starts the Kusaribe’s plan by destroying a branch of the Tree of Genesis. Meanwhile, Hakaze is troubled by the final words of Jun while visiting her home. Is it her growing feelings for Yoshino that unintentionally slew Aika?
Recap: The Mage of Chaos is brought to the Kusaribe Clan and begins spartan training with the ever annoyed Mahiro. When Jun meets up with Yoshino and Hakaze, he spills the obvious to our oblivious princess.
Recap: After waking up, Mahiro finds that Yoshino and Hakaze have gone off on their own. Yoshino’s influence on her worries Samon, to the point that he wants him dead. While rumors of a Mage of Exodus get spun around, the couple happen to find a young man with the powers of the chaotic tree.
Recap: Mahiro spends half the time in a flashback episode before coming up with enough relevant material to make me have to review it. I was not pleased.
Recap: The princess finally finds her key to travel through time. By the time she arrives, the two tree have already started clashing. No longer under the protection of the tree, will Mahiro and Yoshino be safe in this duel of gods? Oh, also, that up there? Called it.
Recap: The war of words between Samon and Yoshino continues on. Meanwhile, the army is dealt a severe blow with Evangeline beaten and new fruits appearing. Who really did kill Mahiro’s sister?
Yoshino tries to talk down Mahiro from joining Samon and explaining the paradox. Meanwhile, the Army prepares for its final assault as Evangeline keeps Natsumura busy.

Junichiro is certain Hakaze is dead, even handling her skeleton, which has somehow been picked clean in a matter of months (trust me, this does not happen.) After some fanservice laden backstory for Junichiro, another fruit appears. To make matters worse, Yoshino gets kidnapped, making Mahiro give chase.
