Even Sasami is sick and tired of this show.

Summary: Sasami’s mother, hell-bent on saving her daughter from the decadence of modern life, comes back to life as a magical zombie. Seriously. While she tries to slap some sense into Sasami, the Yagami sisters try to stop her because of… reasons.

Meanwhile, at Shaft…

Yes, Shinbo, you are a great director. No, Shinbo, this does not justify that most of the stuff you direct is complete garbage. I tolerated Sasami@Unmotivated up to now, but then I realized there are so many other things I could do with my time. What will this show mean once it is over? Nothing. Who will remember it? No one. Its entire existence revolves around our main character, a lazy, decadent, selfish dominatrix refusing to even lift a single finger for the sake of other people and being allowed and actively motivated to do so by three superhumans who will do everything in their power to protect our little protagonist’s life of luxury and abandoning her duties. What has Sasami ever done to deserve this? What sort of message is this show even supposed to convey? Do you think Sasami would actually regret her actions and face the truth her mother laid out to her? Of course not, it took a gratingly melodramatic slaughter of the Yagami sisters to quite literally force common sense upon her. I’ve never seen a show where the supposed villain’s motives are morally more acceptable than the heroes’.

Quite literally, this show is analogous to a monkey pissing in its own mouth. It’s a self-indulgent mess that repeats the same mistakes over and over again and it has no one else to blame but itself. It’s a hideous, half-assed apologist for abuse and laziness and thus serves no other purpose than to make lazy nerds feel good about themselves, cranked up to an all-new level of complete nonsense thanks to an entire dating sim worth of clichés and some mythological name-dropping and psychedelic explanations for the sake of appearing clever. I don’t care about it anymore, you don’t care about it anymore, and heck, I don’t even think Shaft cares about it anymore. They are better than this. Do you know what time it is?
