Recap: The girls must gather the funds to both host an attraction at the culture festival and to attend the 24-hours tournament.
Gee’s Thoughts: I suppose after the beach episode, it was only logical that we’d get a culture festival episode as well. Amazingly enough, this episode actually managed to be more of a disappointment than the previous one. While I definitely got a couple chuckles out of this episode, it has definitely been the weakest one so far, with the least airsoft and time-travel antics. I suppose as a person going into this show for the cute girls doing cute things with guns, rather than just cute girls doing cute things, I was inevitably not gonna dig this one too much. This episode was definitely more towards the “cute things” end of the scale than the “guns things” end. Because of that, I don’t really have much to say about this episode that wouldn’t just devolve into vocalizing my grievances.
We get to see a little more of Yura’s rather checkered past as a social outcast in middle school, but for the most part, it’s just there to reinforce the fact that the C3 club has been a great experience for our heroine. Great for our girl, but doesn’t really add much to the show itself. Once again, Sonora is oddly aloof in response to Yura’s sudden improvement, but nothing more on that end. Overall, here’s hoping the next episode will bring back some more interesting antics.
