As far as this season’s going, I’m enjoying my time a lot with Mob Psycho, Dororo and Promise Neverland. At the rate this is moving, it might end up being one of the finer seasons this decade.
Hmm decade is a big claim but there are some good shows to watch. I think if we took a vote those would also come up as our favorites this season.
My favorite shows this season is Go-Toubun( i like the manga) and Kaguya-sama (big fan of the manga). Lately i quite sick off Isekai and shounen so romantic comedy is my new go to.
Tolkien did create a lot of today fantasy stable( elf, dwarf,…) but like every genre, fantasy built upon the foundation lay by Tolkien by try to do something different. I hope someday anime would take inspiration from other fantasy sources like Warhammer or 40K.
Part of why I really liked Magi The Labyrinth of Magic was because it was a “nonstandard” fantasy setting.
